Perspective is a journey through twelve sonic landscapes that explore the relationship between structure and perception, geometry and emotion, design and instinct.

The album emerges from the collaboration between Dario Germani’s electronic production and drummer Pierluigi Villani’s rhythmic sensibility. The compositions unfold within a territory where electronica, ambient music, contemporary jazz, and cinematic pulses coexist in constant balance, giving rise to a personal and deeply evocative musical language.

The twelve tracks, each named after a concept related to vision, construction, and the observation of space, represent different viewpoints within a single sonic architecture. Keys and tempos gradually evolve throughout the album, creating a sense of continuous movement and perceptual transformation.

Each piece is built around melodies that are simple yet compelling, emerging through layers of electronic textures, suspended harmonies, and richly detailed timbral landscapes. These melodic lines serve as emotional reference points within soundscapes that oscillate between tension and contemplation.

The compositions evoke spectral and melancholic atmospheres through fragmented chord structures, sharp and hypnotic synthesizer sounds, and rhythmic frameworks that alternate between mechanical precision and human breath. In this context, Pierluigi Villani’s drumming is far more than accompaniment; it becomes a fundamental narrative element—an organic presence that constantly interacts with the electronic architectures, adding depth, dynamics, and unpredictability.

Perspective is an album that invites immersive listening.

As its title suggests, every element of the work depends on the observer’s point of view: what appears to be structure can become emotion; what seems distant may reveal intimacy. Within this space of continuous redefinition, Perspective finds its identity.
